| Edible Spiders | For each spider, take 1 round snack cracker and spread peanut butter on it. Put 8 pretzel sticks on top of the peanut butter for the 8 legs of the spider. | Apple Sailboat | Mix some blue gelatin according to package directions; pour into individual serving cups. Let set in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to firm up. While the gelatin is setting, cut a processed cheese slice into a triangle for a sail. Take a toothpick and thread it through the side of the cheese so that it looks like a sail. Slice an apple into quarters and remove the core. Each quarter will be the boat. Put the toothpick and cheese into the apple. Float a boat on top of each blue gelatin ocean. Remember to remove the toothpick before eating. | |
| Funny Face Pizza | Split an English muffin in half and top with prepared pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Place a muffin half in front of each child, and let them decorate their pizza with pepperoni, green or red peppers cut into rings, sliced olives, or other favorite toppings to make a funny face. Bake at 375 degrees F. for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts. | |
| Butterfly Bites | Cut celery into 6-inch long sticks. Spread cream cheese on each stick for the butterfly's body. Then place a pretzel knot on each side of the celery for the wings. Use pieces of pretzel for antennae, and raisins for eyes. | |
| Chocolate Dipped Strawberries | Melt one 16-oz. bag of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stopping every 15 seconds to stir the chocolate. Then, dip one strawberry at a time into the chocolate halfway up. Lay dipped strawberries on waxed paper to cool. You can place them in the refrigerator to cool quicker. You could also dip: pretzels, graham crackers, marshmallows, or your favorite treats. | |
| Apple Smile | Cut an apple into 2 wedges, and remove the core. Spread peanut butter on the cut sides. Put mini-marshmallows along the peanut butter like a row of teeth. Using toothpicks, put the 2 slices together like a mouth. | |
