Dirt PuddingMix one box of instant chocolate pudding according to package directions. Crush some chocolate wafer cookies into small bits; stir most of the crushed cookies into the pudding. Spoon into serving dishes, cover the tops with the remaining cookie crumbs and stick a few Gummy worms out of the pudding. Enjoy!
Edible SpidersFor each spider, take 1 round snack cracker and spread peanut butter on it. Put 8 pretzel sticks on top of the peanut butter for the 8 legs of the spider. Then, put another cracker on top so that it makes a sandwich. Using peanut butter as glue, stick 2 chocolate chips on top of the crackers for eyes.
Ants on a LogCut 6-inch long celery sticks. Spread some peanut butter on the celery sticks to make the log. Put raisins (ants) on the log in a row. You can make these ahead of time, or let the children fix their own.
Apple SailboatMix some blue gelatin according to package directions; pour into individual serving cups. Let set in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to firm up. While the gelatin is setting, cut a processed cheese slice into a triangle for a sail. Take a toothpick and thread it through the side of the cheese so that it looks like a sail. Slice an apple into quarters and remove the core. Each quarter will be the boat. Put the toothpick and cheese into the apple. Float a boat on top of each blue gelatin ocean. Remember to remove the toothpick before eating.
Funny Face PizzaSplit an English muffin in half and top with prepared pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Place a muffin half in front of each child, and let them decorate their pizza with pepperoni, green or red peppers cut into rings, sliced olives, or other favorite toppings to make a funny face. Bake at 375 degrees F. for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
Butterfly BitesCut celery into 6-inch long sticks. Spread cream cheese on each stick for the butterfly's body. Then place a pretzel knot on each side of the celery for the wings. Use pieces of pretzel for antennae, and raisins for eyes.
Chocolate Dipped StrawberriesMelt one 16-oz. bag of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stopping every 15 seconds to stir the chocolate. Then, dip one strawberry at a time into the chocolate halfway up. Lay dipped strawberries on waxed paper to cool. You can place them in the refrigerator to cool quicker. You could also dip: pretzels, graham crackers, marshmallows, or your favorite treats.
Apple SmileCut an apple into 2 wedges, and remove the core. Spread peanut butter on the cut sides. Put mini-marshmallows along the peanut butter like a row of teeth. Using toothpicks, put the 2 slices together like a mouth.
Star SandwichesMake your child's favorite sandwiches. Remove the crusts; cut into star shapes using a cookie cutter. You can adapt this idea to fit any party theme, using different cookie cutter shapes.
